EARLY

  A good part of my life has been about image making.My father was a painter and my parents met at art college. It was normal to be surronded by art in various stages of completion and I developed a visual vocabulary for how I see the world.Drawing and close observation were something I did from a young age and still continue five decades on. A few wonderful elementary school teachers recognized and encouraged the gift. Good fortune took me through a high school with an exceptional art department with exposure to varied mediums like stone lithography,jewelery making and fabric design and printing as well as photography.Thats where my Dad gave me his old pentax 35mm camera and my world changed.
